Consulting
The Solve Learn Play team will meet with you and/or your team via video call to discuss potential for areas of improvement or optimization within the product. SLP will provide research driven insights for product development and expansion to increase accessibility for all children including a special expertise for considerations for speech language disorders, differences, or delays. SLP will review the product’s copy, scripts, or instructions and make suggestions for areas of improvement using clinical insight.
Expert Witness
The Solve Learn Play team will meet with you and/or your legal team to discuss the product, its intended audience, and language-learning claims. Acey Holmes, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will analyze the product using established principles of child language development and evidence-based practice.
The SLP will provide objective, research-driven insight into whether the product meaningfully supports language learning for typically developing children and for children with speech, language, or hearing differences. The SLP will review product copy, instructions, and supporting materials and identify areas where claims align with—or diverge from—developmental science. Expert witness services are analytical and consultative in nature and do not include clinical diagnosis or therapeutic intervention.
Copy/Marketing Writing
The Solve Learn Play team will create or improve copy and marketing materials to increase funnels/referrals for users with special needs including speech/language disorders, differences, or delays and their caregivers. SLP will analyze your product for inherent barriers for children with special speech/language needs and rewrite copy, scripts, and instructions to ensure success for all users using clinical and research based insight.
SLP can also review and analyze scripts for children’s books, shows, digital programming to ensure developmentally appropriate language for full access by all children as well as applying principles of speech-language development.
Toy Store Owner/Manager Training
The Solve Learn Play team will review your retail inventory/purchasing plans and train you & your employees on how to assist your customers in finding the best toy for their needs. SLP will prepare you to recommend products that meet a higher level need than just basic play.

Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts rely heavily on language. Understanding instructions, vocabulary, relationships, and cause-and-effect is essential for children to meaningfully engage with and learn from STEM toys, games, and apps.
Children with speech, language, or hearing differences may encounter barriers when accessing STEM products that are not intentionally designed with language development in mind. Solve Learn Play applies evidence-based principles of child language development to help identify these barriers and support more accessible, inclusive product design—so more children can meaningfully engage with and benefit from your product.
This work extends to neutral, research-based expert analysis evaluating the accuracy and developmental appropriateness of language-learning claims.
